Guest Lecturer: Peter Winn

Professor Peter Winn is a Professor of History focusing on the subject of Latin America at Tufts University. He got his BA from Columbia College and a PhD from Cambridge University in 1972. Some of his major publications include, “Weavers of Revolution: The Yorur Workers and Chile’s Road to Socialism,” and “Americas: The Changing Face of Latin America and the Caribbean.” Curerntly, Professor Winn is also an Academic consultant on the Americas PBS series. At Tufts, Winn teaches the following courses; “Americas,” “Colonial Latin America,” “Modern Latin America,” “Revolution in Latin America: Mexico and Cuba,” and “Revolution and Counterrevolution in Central and South America.”
